It feels like I’ve always had a camera in my hand. I grew up filming my family and friends at family functions, documenting trips and holidays.
Fast forward to 2018, and I decided to officially launch a photography business. Over the next 5 years, the business grew into a full-time job…but in 2018, I also worked three jobs and took my business as a part-time position. For 4 years we operated our business off donations only and we gave a percentage of our earnings to families and organizations making a difference in our local community. For the next 2 years, I juggled a growing business as well as all the responsibilities I had as a single father. – needless to say, it kept me busy 24/7. But then, I met some amazing group of photographers, videographers, editors, and marketing team who have come along to take some of the load off my plate.
So now, here I am – a full time content creator from Auburn, AL. A guy who never intended to be a photographer/videographer but couldn’t be more thankful for this amazing career and all the amazing places it’s taken me so far.

I firmly believe that the relationships I build with my clients provide the backbone of the content we create together. That means I’m all about getting to know you…but I’d love for you to get to know me as well! And behind the love of photography, travel, and creating work that evokes emotion is simply Churmell, a (relatively) normal person with my own hobbies, interests, and passions.
The clients I work with don’t want cookie-cutter images or films; they want to be as creative and unique as they are. When we start working together, I invest time and effort into getting to know you and your vision, your personalities, and your hopes and dreams so that I can create an experience film that reflects you and tells your story with honesty and heart.
I also get how intimidating it can be to sit in front of a camera while being asked to open up and share your story and could be somewhat vulnerable. (If that’s you – don’t worry.
My process is all about making you feel relaxed and at ease so you can feel like you are hanging out with a friend. I’ll guide you every step of the way so that you can be fully present in the moment and fully enjoy the experience.
The result is an image and film that captures the true essence of your life story. Animage and film that feels like your own personalized documentary that you can look back on for years and think, “Through it all, this is me.”
